Build Financial Models That Actually Work

Most spreadsheets break when assumptions change. We teach you how to construct models that adapt, scale, and give decision-makers the confidence they need. Our approach focuses on real-world application rather than theoretical exercises.

What Makes Financial Modeling Stick

After watching hundreds of professionals struggle with Excel, we noticed a pattern. The ones who succeed don't memorize formulas. They understand structure.

Error-Resistant Design

Your models will get copied, modified, and stretched beyond their original purpose. We show you how to build with that reality in mind, using techniques that prevent the most common breaks.

Scenario Planning

Decision-makers need to see multiple futures. You'll learn to set up models where changing key assumptions doesn't require rebuilding everything from scratch.

Audit Trails

Six months from now, someone will question your numbers. We teach you documentation habits that make it easy to trace every calculation back to its source.

Learning Path for Financial Modelers

Foundation Phase

Start with proper worksheet architecture and naming conventions that prevent common errors. Most modeling problems come from poor setup, not advanced formulas. We spend significant time here because it matters most.

Weeks 1-3

Building Components

Learn to construct revenue forecasts, expense models, and working capital schedules that connect properly. Each piece needs to feed the others without creating circular references or breaking when assumptions shift.

Weeks 4-7

Integration Work

Connect your components into full three-statement models. This is where most beginners get stuck, and where proper structure from earlier phases pays off. You'll also learn sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling.

Weeks 8-11

Real Application

Apply everything to industry-specific cases that match the work you'll actually do. Banking models differ from corporate planning models, and we make sure you understand those nuances.

Week 12+

How We Approach Teaching

Our next cohort begins September 2025. Classes run evenings and weekends to accommodate working professionals across Australia.

Portrait of Siobhan Kearney

"The best part was learning why certain structures work better than others. I'd been building models for three years but never understood the logic behind proper architecture until this program."
